In the third game John Schultz took on "Turbo" Trevor Burkhill, Turbo was too good for Schultz holding throw in the opener with a 17 dart leg, Burkhill broke in the second with a 20 darter and recording a 180 in the process as he secured the win in three finishing with a solid 17 to make it three in three for the champs.

We finished off the night with Mick Hulley trying to save the whitewash for the Panthers against a tough Jelger Tuinstra. Hulley took the first two legs taking out a 21 darter in the second, when he looked comfortable for the win Jelger hit back breaking in the third leg then holding with a solid 19 darter under pressure to force a decider but it was Hulley who held it together finishing the night off in 21 darts to et the Panthers off the mark but the night belonged to the champions recording a 5-1 win and showing once again they're going to be tough to beat this season.

Another newly formed team Woodbourne Wades captained by Stephen Naisbitt travelled to the Station to take on the Railwaymen.

It was the captain of the Wades to kick us off taking on Steve Marfleet. Naisbitt  had the darts but couldn't get into the game as Marfleet broke to get off the mark, Marfleet then followed with the best leg of the night firing in a 14 darter to make it two. In the fourth game of the night Martin Scott swept aside Chris "The Blade" Keane setting off with a 21 dart leg and never felt troubled winning in three.

Railwaymen's Gav Pilling did the same to Antonio Cruz hitting a 20 darter in the second leg and never felt troubled as he also took the win in three legs of darts to to make it five in five.

In the final match of a tough night for the Wades youngster Tom "Shooter" Sawford played Pete "Perfect" Bramley hoping to avoid a whitewash for his team. It didn't start well for "Shooter" in the opener as Bramley took out the double to get off the mark. Sawford then clicked in form holding in the second to level then breaking the Bramley throw in the third with a 19 dart leg and he then finished him off in the fourth leg with a three dart finish 18 darter to finally register a point for the Wades as the Railwaymen secured the 5-1 win.

Oli Newall was looking to equalise in game two for the Academicals as he played Dave Cliffe who was also making his Wolves bow and Cliffe didn't disappoint as he started with a 20 darter putting the pressure on early, he then broke the Newall throw in the second leg which broke the spirit as Dave finished him off in three to make it two for the Wolves.

With the Academicals off the mark after four games Tim Adams had the darts in a close match against John Edwards which went all the way to a decider with every leg going with throw it was Adams who were throwing for the match to keep the Academicals in the game but after a nervy leg it was Edwards who found the finishing double which secured the win for the Wolves with a game to spare.
