Black Eagles win Cracker against the Vulcans

Black Eagles fly higher than the Vulcans in terrific game

Woodbourne Black Eagles took on the Vulcans in a game full of high spirits and top banter proving again the players made the right decision creating the franchise.Anthony "Cornish" Warne kicked off with a 21 dart leg against Super Daffs Pete Daffin before Pete then levelled before Cornish held throw to make it 2-1 but then felt the wrath of Daffin as Pete hit back with a 16 dart leg to level and then a 15 to break throw hitting 2x140s in the last leg.The Tiger Tony Darlow and Steel Ace Steve Stacey played out a thriller with Tony hitting a 18 to kick off before Stace hit back with a delightful 14 and the next was nip and tuck but went to Tony and then another tight leg was next with Tony hitting a maximum but the Steel Ace holding his nerve to level at 2-2.The Tiger then hit a 180 on his 2nd throw and hold on for a 16 dart leg to take the game 3-2 and put the Black eagle two up.John Walton was next for the home side and Daz The Nuke Layden for the Vulcans and daz was straight into things with a 20 and 14 dart legs that put him 2-0 but John did have his chances and in the next Daz missed nothing taking it with a 158 outshot to put the visiting team from Frceheville back in it at 2-1.Chris Gray played very well but was unlucky when coming up against an inform Turbo trev who rattled off legs of 17,14,16 with a maximum to put the Eagles 3-1 up.Dave Hemsworth kicked off with a 21 dart leg against the power Phil Lambert and continued to dominate as he ran out 3-0 winner with Phil not quite getting into the game but had some solid scores and  he will be back.Jim The Tractor Smith was up last for the visitors but ran into a rapid fir Simon Birkett who rattled off 20,19,18 dart legs to score a quick 3-0 win but Jim performed well with lots of solid scores but just not pushing Simon on the night to give the Black Eagles a 5-1 victory over the Frecheville Vulcans and remain in topspot
The Tiger Tony Darlow
